How We Record the Ad That Brought You Here

When you reach Liftfin by clicking an advertisement, we record how you arrived in a cookie stored on this website. Only our own servers can read it. It is not readable by other websites and it is not shared with them.

Each of these records holds:

• The campaign details carried in the link you clicked, commonly called UTM tags
• The advertising platform's click identifier, which lets us match your visit to the specific ad we paid for
• The website or app you came from
• The page on Liftfin you first landed on

We keep these records for up to 90 days, and never more than the five most recent visits you made from an advertisement. Anything older, or beyond those five, is removed automatically.

We do this so that we know which advertising brings people to Liftfin, and can measure and pay for it correctly. If you submit an application or click through to a lender, the record of the advertisement that brought you is stored alongside it for the same purpose.

These records carry no name, email address or phone number. We do not use them to identify you on other websites, or to link you across your different devices.
